There is nothing better than St Louis Cardinals fans talking Cardinals. Today we took to the back fields at Roger Dean Stadium and asked some of the fans some questions. This never really gets old. I love seeing what people are hoping for in the coming season but most of all I love hearing their Cardinals stories and favorite memories. Cardinals Middle Fielders & Expectations for the 2024 Season

Red Beard sits down with Blake Yager, of Hobby Card Shop to discuss the Cardinals' middle infielders, current roster, current needs, and expectations for 2024. With Spring Training games right around the corner, beginning on Saturday, 2/24/24, excitement is building, along with the expectations of a restless Cardinals' fanbase, coaching staff, and front office that is not looking forward to a repeat performance of the difficult 2023. With that in mind, the consensus seems to be that the Cardinals will need EVERYONE to step up and play the way we know they are capable of, AND the front office should really pony up and sign another impact starter. (Jordan Montgomery comes to mind).

Episode 4: Comparing the 2023 and 2024 Pitching Roster

Today we are talking to Matt Johnson comparing the 2023 and 2024 Cardinals pitching roster. How does the 2024 Cardinals team stack up compared to the 2023 team, and other recent teams? Did they get that much better? Can the Cardinals count on players to perform at high levels and secure the NL Central Division Crown? The Cardinals had many things go wrong in 2023, starting with the absence of so many key players during the World Baseball Classic. Heading into 2024 we have a young group with an extra year of experience, with some proven veterans brought in and added leadership. If everything goes well, they will be playing in October, but we think the Cardinals are still short 1 strong starting pitcher, if they truly want to be competitive.
